Kansas Sports Center
Our popular driving range features 75 lighted hitting stations, three new grass tees, practice putting and chipping green, improved mat hitting areas, quality golf balls and accurate distance markers. You'll also stay warm during winter hitting under our covered/heated hitting bays.
And while golf is the centerpiece at the Kansas Sports Center, we are also a central gathering point for baseball and softball players who work on their hitting in our 8-station baseball/softball batting cages. For family fun all year round, our miniature golf layout is one of the areas finest and a popular retreat for players of all ages.
With all the recreational activities going on at the Kansas Sports Center, we're the perfect place for group and corporate outings. Our covered picnic shelter is available during the warm weather months and groups enjoy playing on our sand volleyball court or taking part in a softball game on our ball field.
While serious golfers have adopted the Kansas Sports Center as their primary practice range, the facility is also known and appreciated for having a fun, educational atmosphere that appeals to golfers and sports enthusiasts at every level. Whether you are a beginner or top-level player, the Kansas Sports Center is the perfect place to improve your game.
Originally built in 1992 as a family entertainment complex, our new ownership group has transformed the Kansas Sports Center by improving the driving range and refurbishing the Sports Center clubhouse and snack bar areas. In 2007, we opened The Golf Club of Kansas, an 18-hole championship golf course, built along with a brand new 18,000-square-foot clubhouse on 180 acres adjacent to the Kansas Sports Center.
We are conveniently located just three quarters of a mile West of Interstate 435 at the 87th Street exit. Whether you hit golf balls, baseballs, softballs or just want a nice leisurely round of miniature golf, stop by the Kansas Sports Center for an affordable afternoon or evening of fun. |
